Jitter chat

Jitter Chat was one among the first generation of teen-oriented online chat services. It was launched as part of a broader web presence in 1996,[1] and is believed to have operated until the late 1990s (unverified). The site was launched by USPAN, Inc.

Jitter Chat used to be located at "jitter.com". Jitter Chat featured a unique pale purple background, private messaging, and click-to-refresh functions.

Many users, mainly from the U.S. and Canada, gathered to connect without ever meeting each other.
